Attention organizers (and anyone else who wants to build more worker power as part of your health and safety work)!  COSHCON 2021--the on-line health and safety conference--is about to get underway, and there are a number of sessions built for (and by) organizers like you. Even better, the program is open to all on a pay-what-you-can basis. Among the sessions at COSHCON that are of special interest to organizers:

  • Are you brand new to organizing? Then come to the Organizing Crash Course: Building Worker Power and Safe Workplaces and get to learn--and practice!--fundamental skills like identifying worker leaders and moving workers to action. December 7, 2021  12 pm to 2 pm ET

  • Curious about how workers have built power during COVID-19 and other periods of intense health and safety threats? The general session, moderated by AFL-CIO Organizing Institute Director Patrick Scott, will be a chance to go deep on strategy for Organizing During a Health and Safety Crisis. December 9,  2021 3 pm to 4:30pm ET

  • Looking for new ideas about how to approach your own work? Then you're a prime candidate to participate in a discussion about Exploring Different Organizing Models, moderated by Nafisah Ula, the National Organizing Director for Jobs With Justice.  December 14, 2021 12 pm to 2 pm ET

  • Need some inspiration? Then join us to hear three Health and Safety Success Stories from organizers on the ground who will share their experiences and lessons learned. December 16, 2021, 12 pm to 2 pm Eastern

COSHCON runs on-line December 7-9 and December 14-16. The regular registration fee of $90 is waived for workers and activists, with donations accepted. But all participants MUST register to attend any part of the conference. Click on the scholarship button when registering for free or reduced fees. Register now!

PS - With over 40 sessions happening these six days, there’s many other workshops that have inspiring stories and important tools for worker activists.
