Our planning committee has been working with Aja Michael  of the Ivy Tech Community Northeast, and she has graciously arranged for us to meet  at The Steel Dynamics, Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center, on the north campus, 3701 Dean Drive, Fort Wayne, IN 46835, in Room TC1315/17.

If you're tired of testing - or just want to learn more, the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library invites you to a two-part series this weekend. The Indiana premiere of the documentary Standardize-Lies, Money and Civil Rights: How Testing is Ruining Public Education will be shown Sunday at 2 p.m. at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St. in Indianapolis.

There's a rally to support public education this Saturday (October 11) in Indianapolis. It's on the south steps of Monument Circle from 11 a.m. to noon. 
 State Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz is scheduled to speak. 
 It's being organized by several legislative candidates.
