Why a Workshop Now?

The purpose of this workshop is for participants to identify and plan actions that will limit gerrymandering during the 2021 redistricting process.

The 2020 Indiana Legislative Election Committees, in both the House and Senate, declined to consider pro-re-districting introduced by legislators of both parties. Many citizen groups’ actions, until now, have been campaigning to pass these bills. Now that the bills are off the table, we need to find other ways to create fair electoral boundaries in the upcoming 2021 redistricting process.
Fortunately, there are many opportunities for us to continue the campaign! Join us as we define and plan on-going activity!
