Too many people -- including parents and family breadwinners -- are putting in 40 hours a week and bringing home barely $15,000 a year. They're playing by the rules and working hard, but for most, that's not enough to make ends meet.
That's why we're part of the growing coalition of Americans standing up to say this has to change.
The Senate is expected to consider raising the minimum wage in the next few weeks -- this event in Indianapolis is one of the strongest ways we can send a message to Washington.
